The collaborative story I worked on, ‘How Syrian refugees are adjusting to their new lives in Toronto’ , won a Student Feature Writing award at the 2018 Better Newspaper Competition as part of the Ontario Community Newspaper Association.
The story focuses on four families who fled Syria during the war and arrived in Toronto in 2015. This special report tells the story on how their lives have changed since. Story can be found below.
